Climate-Resilient Agriculture
Drip irrigation, drought-tolerant seeds and training for 600 smallholder farmers across the Nugaal valley.
The Challenge
Repeated droughts in the Nugaal valley have pushed smallholder farmers into cycles of failed harvests and debt. Without reliable water and resilient seeds, families cannot plan a season.
The Solution
Drip irrigation kits, drought-tolerant seed varieties and climate-smart training for 600 farming households, alongside a shared tool and seed bank managed by a local cooperative.
